What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a merchant's system that a visitor came from Majumedia. When a purchase is completed within the merchant's attribution window, we receive a commission — typically a small percentage of the sale price.
Which links are affiliate links?
Articles that contain affiliate links are labelled at the top with an affiliate disclosure notice. Product cards, comparison tables, and buy-now buttons within those articles may be tracked. Non-affiliate outbound links — to sources, research, manufacturer sites, and editorial references — are not tracked for commission.
Does commission affect editorial decisions?
No. Our editorial team selects products based on research, testing, reader feedback, and editorial merit — not commission rates. We cover products with no affiliate program, products with lower commission rates than alternatives, and we publish negative reviews. Commission income funds operations; it does not direct content.
Affiliate programs we work with
We work with major affiliate networks and direct merchant programs including Amazon Associates and others relevant to each niche. The specific program varies by product and merchant. All programs require that links carry appropriate rel attributes (sponsored, nofollow, noopener) per platform requirements.
